About

Why we built Quran Coach.

[[owner’s story — why this app exists, in the owner’s own words]]

Where the content comes from.

  • Quran text

Tanzil Project Uthmani script (Hafs riwayah) — the complete 6,236-verse text, reproduced verbatim.

  • Translations

English only at launch: Marmaduke Pickthall (1930). We add a translation in another language only once its translator or publisher has given permission.

  • Recitation audio

    27 reciters, via EveryAyah.

  • Hadith

The nine classical collections: Bukhari, Muslim, Abu Dawud, Tirmidhi, Nasa’i, Ibn Majah, Malik, Ahmad and Darimi.

  • Duas

105 duas across 18 categories, each with Arabic, transliteration and translation.

How the AI is kept honest.

  1. 1

    You ask

In any of seven languages. Coach quotes its sources in Arabic and English.

  2. 2

    It searches only the sources

The Quran and the nine classical hadith collections — never the open internet.

  3. 3

    It cites, or it stops

Every reference is checked against the source text and confirmed to exist before you see it. If nothing survives, Coach says so instead of guessing.

AI-generated — verify with qualified scholars.

Still improving.
